Job summary

Gingerbread Littleversity of Fuquay-Varina is seeking Floater Teachers to support all age groups. A high school diploma or GED is required, the ability to pass all background checks, and candidates must be 18 years of age. Previous childcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to substitute for any position as needed, covering breaks and absences and taking on classroom duties as scheduled
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with children, parents, and staff
• Operate as a team player and assist as directed by the lead teacher
• Maintain safety and be able to work around small children, including activities like sitting, standing, walking and climbing stairs
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet all physical requirements of the role

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Willingnessto effectively substitute for any position as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members before or after their scheduled shifts.
