Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans and curriculum weekly across all areas of child development and use the parent communication app.
• Establish a professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of each child and maintain a clean, organized classroom.
• Maintain child assessments and conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences in November and May.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and fulfill physical requirements.
• Carry out daily classroom responsibilities for child care.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
• Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
