Job summary

Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) seeks staff for Child Development Centers to provide care and instruction for children aged 6 weeks to 18 years. You will supervise safety, implement planned activities, and assist with meals, while addressing emergencies as needed.

Positions include flexible schedules with evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays; readiness for immunization requirements and background checks is required. Local area Fort Jackson, SC is the duty location.

Qualifications

• Resumes must be two pages (or less) and clearly demonstrate KSAs as they pertain to this position.
• For Skill/Target levels, education transcripts or certificates may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides developmental care and instruction for children aged 6 weeks to 18 years in CYS programs.
• Supervises and ensures safety during daily activities, field trips, and events.
• Implements planned activities using prepared curricula and materials.
• Assists with snacks/meals and responds to emergencies including evacuations and illnesses.
