Job summary

DISC Village in Florida seeks a qualified case manager to support children and families in the Dependency System. You will conduct home visits, assess safety, complete timely assessments, and input data into FSFN.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field, must obtain Florida Child Welfare Certification within one year, and demonstrate strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, mental health, or related field.
• Must obtain Child Welfare Certification within probationary period (1 year).
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Meet Florida statute requirements for children in the Dependency System.
• Manage caseload and provide case management services.
• Conduct home visits to assess child safety, permanency, and well‑being.
• Assist with court hearings and transportation arrangements.
• Input data into the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN).
• Maintain documentation for client records.
