Job summary

Camelot Community Care in Lake City, FL is seeking a dedicated Child Welfare Case Manager who will participate in staff development and maintain ongoing child welfare certification. You will collaborate with supervisory staff and community resources to support families, ensure permanency and child safety, and complete required case notes and court documents.

The role requires a 4-year degree in social work or related field, plus relevant experience and certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or related field and one year of relevant social services experience with children and families.
• Child Welfare Certification: required to participate in certification training and obtain certification after training.
• Background clearance required and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Participates in staff development opportunities and maintains child welfare certification through on-going training.
• Works cooperatively with the team and assists on cases.
• Maintains relationships with supervisory staff and community resource providers to facilitate referrals and continuities of care for families on the caseload.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with children and families focusing on permanency and safety.
• Completes case notes, attends court activities, and prepares judicial reviews and required reports on time.
