You will collaborate with the primary case manager to promote safety, permanency, and well-being, conducting home visits and preparing reports for court submissions.

The role requires at least 2 years in Human Services or Child Welfare, a Bachelor's degree in social work or related field, and a Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Human Services or Child Welfare programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is required.
• Obtain Child Welfare Certification within 1 year and maintain it.
• Valid Florida state driver’s license is required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Act as the courtesy worker for all assigned cases in collaboration with the primary worker.
• Conduct home visits to assess child safety, permanency and well-being.
• Engage parents and children to achieve permanency goals.
• Identify medical, dental, educational, and mental health needs and ensure referrals.
• Prepare detailed reports to support court submissions and permanency goals.
• Maintain case files electronically and on paper, with up-to-date notes.
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders and respond to concerns.
• 25% travel to carry out field duties.
