Job summary

Texas-Family-Care-Network seeks an Intake and Placement Specialist to coordinate placements for children across the state. You will review referrals, identify suitable placement options, and work with case managers and providers to secure appropriate care levels.

The role requires strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and commitment to safety and compliance. On-call duties and timely documentation are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required or;
• Associate's degree from an accredited school plus two (2) years of relevant work experience or;
• 60 accredited college credit hours plus two (2) years of relevant work experience or;
• 90 accredited college credit hours plus one (1) year of relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placement within the region/state for various levels of care.
• Review placement applications for sufficiency and quality.
• Interact with Case Managers and placement providers to identify suitable options.
• Maintain timely data entry and documentation in systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to on-call notifications.
• Follow safety, policies, and professional standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Associate's degree + 2 years of relevant work experience

60 accredited college credit hours + 2 years of relevant work experience

90 accredited college credit hours + 1 year of relevant work experience

Valid state driver’s license
