Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking an Intake Specialist to locate safe and appropriate placement for children under DFPS care or referrals from state/partner agencies. The role involves coordinating with caseworkers, foster parents, and providers to gather feedback and streamline the placement process, while maintaining accurate records and 24/7 availability for urgent referrals.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant experience in child welfare or related field.
• Proficiency in documenting and reporting information accurately, ensuring compliance with agency policies and legal requirements.

Responsabilités

• Receive and review client referrals and intake information; ensure all information is entered into agencies' databases.
• Collaborate with caseworkers, foster parents, and other stakeholders to address concerns and improve the application process regarding placement.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Coordinate response to all referral calls to CPS within 1 hour.
• Maintain an up-to-date listing of all agency care providers and licensing capacity with accurate data entry.
• Foster a healthy staff environment and culture.
• Be willing to work on call and after normal business hours for 24/7 coverage.
• Possible supervision of SSCC youth as required.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and make sound decisions quickly.
• Perform duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory standards.
• May drive vehicles and complete company vehicle training.
