Texas Family Care Network seeks a General Adoption Recruiter to connect children waiting for permanent homes with families, by coordinating recruitment, matching and support services.

The role submits and updates child profiles to TARE and reviews inquiries, partnering with DFPS, CASA and other stakeholders to facilitate staffing and adoption plans. You will maintain records, participate in community outreach, and ensure safety/compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required.
• Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Register children on TARE if no family identified by 60 days from Termination of Parental Rights.
• Keep profiles and photographs updated.
• Coordinate and facilitate selection staffing with DFPS, CASA, ad litem, and guardian ad litem.
• Provide recommended home studies to staffing participants prior to staffing for review.
• Present recommended adoptive homes for a child/youth to all parties.
• Notify DFPS when the family agrees to proceed with adoption.
• Coordinate hosting and facilitating the Presentation Staffing.
• Follow up with families after Staffing to confirm decisions.
• Learn background of family and child/youth to plan support.
• Track inquiries on TARE and AdoptUSKids.
• Complete forms and data entry in CoBris, IMPACT and systems.
