Job summary

The Providence Center is seeking a Clinical Therapist for the ACT II Team 1B (CCBHC) in Rhode Island. This role involves conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Experience in Human Services field preferred.
• Eligible for Rhode Island licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-A, LMFT, or LMFT-A) at time of hire.
• Must obtain RI license within one year of hire.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• QMHP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy for mental health/substance use issues using evidence-based practices.
• Maintain comprehensive psychosocial assessments and mental status examinations; provide evaluations and monthly reports to external agencies.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the care team and clients/families.
• Respond to crises and perform crisis intervention and risk management as needed.
• Coordinate care with internal teams and community partners; ensure shift adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all client interactions.
