Job summary

The Providence Center is seeking a Clinical Therapist Lead for Child and Family Services. This role supervises the team, carries a caseload, and works to divert hospitalization while improving access to housing and support services.

Under the Program Manager/Director, you will supervise staff planning, assignments, and problem resolution, while maintaining high ethical and clinical standards and coordinating patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required in a clinical area.
• 3–5 years of experience with behavioral health diagnoses in community settings; supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Eligibility for QMHP designation.
• Knowledge of DSM-5-TR and evidence-based care.
• Crisis intervention, risk assessment and trauma-informed care knowledge.
• Strong communication and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily team operations and lead regular team meetings.
• Provide staff training, risk management guidance and problem resolution.
• Promote self-direction and team-building within the staff.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based models of care.
• Coordinate client care and streamline referrals; oversee admissions and discharges.
• Carry a caseload and provide direct clinical services as applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance; document diligently.
