Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years working with low-income families in workforce solutions/child care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse populations.
• Ability to balance duties, meet deadlines, and work with management.

Responsibilities

• Accept and coordinate referrals for child care.
• Accurately determine eligibility of families for service and maintain appropriate eligibility documentation.
• Provide information relative to quality child care to assist parents in making informed choices.
• Enter client information into the automated system.
• Communicate program information to parents and respond to complaints while ensuring needs of parents and children are met.
• Track and process client redeterminations.
• Terminate child care services as needed.
• Maintain high level of client satisfaction with conflict resolution and exemplary customer service.
• Enroll eligible children for services.
• Promote parental compliance with Personal Responsibility Agreement.
• Authorize payments to eligible CCAS providers with documentation.
• Assess parent share of costs accurately.
• Maintain documentation to support changes, intake and referrals for special programs.
• Maintain knowledge of eligibility guidelines and policies; apply them to cases.
• Communicate waiting list processes to clients.
• Ensure confidentiality of clients and co-workers.
• Arrive on time and work scheduled hours.
• Report suspected abuse or fraud as required by law and policy.
• Maintain and submit time in payroll systems and complete job-related documents.
• Attend meetings and trainings as specified by management.
• Work effectively in deadline-driven atmosphere.
• Communicate positively with parents and providers.
• Work independently and cooperatively with good time management.
