Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Houston seeks an Executive Director of Youth Development to lead high-quality afterschool and day camp programs across the Fort Bend community, ensuring safety, inclusion and engaging activities that help youth discover their passions.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, build partnerships with schools and community groups, and drive program quality through planning, evaluation, and strategic growth while representing the Y at local and national events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent.
• Six or more years of management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other not-for-profit agency.
• Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of center budget, marketing and public relations, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Leadership: Lead the strategic implementation and daily operations of high quality out of school time programs.
• Supervision: Oversees hiring, training, supervision and accountability of program staff.
• Financial Development: Directs all financial development activities and seeks new funding sources.
• Fiscal Management: Develops, manages, and monitors the overall operating budget to meet targets.
• Market Growth & Analysis: Conduct program analysis and expand programs within the community.
• Strategic Partnerships: Develops positive relationships with community partners and funders.
