Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related programming experience in a nonprofit setting.
• Minimum age 21.
• Experience with diverse populations.
• Ability to collaborate with community organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with children and adults.
• Commitment to working with children and families.
• Within 30 days: CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develops, organizes and implements high quality programs focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
• Recruits, hires, trains, and supervises staff and volunteers; evaluates performance.
• Supports marketing and registration; coordinates social media plan for center.
• Manages program budgets and ensures fiscal objectives.
• Oversees Child Watch and Day Camp operations for safety and engagement.
• Builds partnerships with community organizations.
• Participates in Cause-Driven Leader on Duty schedule.
• Upholds YMCA health and safety regulations.
