Job summary

AKRIS is seeking a Senior Director of Retail to shape the U.S. retail vision and lead a network of boutiques and Saks Fifth Avenue concessions. This executive role drives strategy, client development, and operational excellence across the US, with responsibility for P&L and partnership management.

You will coach store leaders, collaborate with global teams, and ensure the brand’s architectural elegance and understated luxury across all doors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive luxury retail leadership experience including managing multiple locations and concessions.
• Proven track record in leading retail teams to achieve sales goals and enhance client experience.
• Experience managing business partnerships and cross-functional collaboration in global organizations.
• Strong financial acumen with experience owning or influencing retail P&L.
• High emotional intelligence with ability to influence and motivate at all levels.
• Deep appreciation for craftsmanship and heritage luxury brands.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the U.S. network and to Switzerland as needed.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute a market strategy aligning global identity with local opportunities across boutiques and concessions.
• Lead store leadership, mentor teams, and drive succession planning and talent development.
• Oversee client development, loyalty strategies, and partnership with marketing to deepen community ties.
• Manage concessions with Saks Fifth Avenue and leverage leased departments within partner protocols.
• Own P&L for the U.S. retail network and monitor performance by store, region, and category.
• Plan and execute End of Season and Sample Sale events with logistics teams.
