Job summary

RTX is seeking an SSBU Execution Chief Engineer to lead a portfolio of development and production programs. You will establish a clear product vision, coordinate with customers and internal leadership, and drive execution to meet cost, schedule, and technical goals.

You will manage technical risk, guide upgrades, and collaborate with subcontractors to deliver results while ensuring export/import compliance and program growth for mission areas.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership and cross-functional coordination experience.
• Strong program management and systems engineering background.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a product vision, strategy, and goals across multiple programs.
• Ensure engineering execution meets cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Serve as primary technical contact with customers and senior leadership.
• Support capture of new business and align roadmaps with planning.
• Lead incremental development of upgrades and system improvements.
• Drive improvements in production via FRACAS and continuous improvement.
• Engage with major subcontractors to ensure deliverables.
• Direct a multi-disciplined engineering team.
• Provide technical advisory disposition for Export/Import compliance.
