Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market seeks a senior executive to lead Store Planning & Design for new-store prototypes, formats, and layout standards. This leader will convert growth and operations strategies into repeatable, cost-effective store packages executed across the store pipeline.

The role oversees design documentation, third-party production, and quality control, while guiding remodels and sales-initiative planning for the existing fleet. Strong leadership and vendor management are essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in retail store planning, prototype development, design production, or related functions.
• Executive leadership experience overseeing multi-unit store design programs from prototype to execution handoff.
• Experience managing internal teams and third-party architects, designers, planners, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and delivery of new-store prototypes, formats, layouts, and fixture standards.
• Lead production of site-specific floor plans, fixture plans, and equipment layouts with cross-functional partners.
• Establish governance, stage gates, and change control for design and construction documentation.
• Partner with Merchandising, Real Estate, Construction, and Operations to adapt prototypes to site constraints.
• Lead remodels, sales initiatives, and ongoing design standards across the portfolio.
