Job summary

Gusto is seeking a senior leader to own Risk & Money Services within its Financial Services organization. You will guide fraud decisioning, compliance posture, and the operational backbone for money movement, including Gusto Wallet and related products.

The role demands deep expertise in Reg E, BSA/AML, and working with sponsor banks. You will partner across Product, Engineering, and Legal to scale a compliant, AI-enabled financial services function.

Qualifications

Extensive leadership of financial services operations in regulated domains.
Deep experience with fraud detection and real-time risk decisions.
Knowledge of Reg E, BSA/AML, and sponsor bank relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead Risk & Money Services end to end, owning fraud and payment risk decisioning, compliance, and operations.
Direct an organization spanning risk operations, dispute and fraud operations, and consumer money products.
Stand up governance, SLAs, controls, and reporting for a new regulated function.
Make real-time financial decisions impacting customers and Gusto’s financial outcomes.
Oversee Reg E compliance, BSA/AML response, and consumer money products governance.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal to align operational and regulatory requirements.
Represent the function with sponsor banks, regulators, and auditors.
