Job summary

This leadership role manages vendor relations, budget, and staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.

The Director will drive policy development, board reporting, and cross-department collaboration to support a secure and efficient technology environment.

Qualifications

• College degree in Information Technology or commensurate experience.
• Proven experience as IT Director or similar role in banking/credit union.
• Strong knowledge of banking rules, regulations and cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead Cyber Security strategies including annual risk assessments.
• Manage vendor relationships and IT budget.
• Prepare board packets for IT and Cybersecurity oversight.
• Hire, train and develop IT staff; supervise performance.
• Collaborate with department heads to align technology with goals.
