Job summary

Maine Community Bank is seeking a Director of IT Operations to lead business-facing technology services that enable employee productivity, operational excellence, and strong customer experience. You will bridge business priorities with IT, translating needs into practical solutions and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, MIS, or related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years in IT, business solutions, service delivery, application support, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership, supervision, or management experience including teams, vendors, budgets, and outcomes.
• Experience implementing or maturing IT Service Management practices, service metrics, and governance.
• Experience leading business application delivery, DevOps, automation, and technology adoption.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the IT Service Desk, end-user support, and customer-facing technology services.
• Translate business priorities into practical solutions, service improvements, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead DevOps, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across technology-enabled processes.
• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and manage engagement models for needs, risks, and priorities.
• Partner with risk, cybersecurity, and infrastructure groups to deliver solutions aligned with Bank standards.
