Job summary

Branson Bank seeks an IT Director to guide technology strategy, strengthen cybersecurity, and lead daily IT operations in an onsite leadership role. You will collaborate with bank leadership, IT staff, and partners to keep systems secure, reliable, and aligned with business goals.

You will drive roadmaps, audits, vendor oversight, and AI governance, while mentoring the IT team and communicating clearly across the organization.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting IT environments with infrastructure, systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support.
• Demonstrated experience leading technology initiatives, projects, vendors, or employees.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and carry projects from planning through completion.
• Knowledge of information security, technology risk, and banking tech expectations (FFIEC, GLBA, vendor oversight).
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to connect technology decisions to business needs, costs, risks, and results.
• Collaborative leadership style and willingness to assist with day-to-day needs.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite and build relationships with staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and operations, shaping roadmaps and budget priorities.
• Stay involved in daily support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Strengthen cybersecurity and risk management; may serve as Information Security Officer.
• Support banking compliance, audits, risk assessments, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Manage vendors with trust-but-verify approach and internal accountability.
• Deliver technology projects from planning through adoption and follow-up.
• Champion responsible AI and automation governance and oversight.
• Develop the IT team with mentorship and growth opportunities.
• Communicate risks and recommendations clearly to staff, executives, and Board.
• Contribute to the bank’s culture through respectful leadership and collaboration.
