Job summary

Branson Bank is seeking an IT Director to guide technology strategy, strengthen cybersecurity, and lead daily IT operations onsite. You will collaborate with bank leadership and technology partners to keep systems secure, reliable, and aligned with business goals.

The role emphasizes building relationships, developing others, and ownership from first conversation through resolution, with close interaction with executives and the IT team.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience supporting IT environments with a foundation in infrastructure, systems administration, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support.
• Demonstrated experience leading technology initiatives, projects, vendors, or employees.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and carry projects from planning through completion.
• Understanding of information security, technology risk, and banking technology expectations including FFIEC guidance, GLBA, vendor oversight, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to connect technology decisions to business needs, costs, risks, and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology strategy and operations, developing roadmaps and guiding infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain daily support coverage and troubleshoot issues.
• Strengthen cybersecurity and risk management, oversee security practices and incident preparedness.
• Coordinate technology and security responsibilities related to regulatory examinations, audits, risk assessments, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Evaluate vendor recommendations, monitor service quality, review contracts and risks, and ensure accountability for outcomes.
• Lead technology projects from planning through implementation and adoption.
• Champion responsible AI and automation, overseeing governance and ongoing oversight of tools.
• Develop the IT team, set expectations, mentor staff, and support professional growth.
• Communicate technical issues and risks clearly to employees, leadership, and the Board.
• Contribute to Branson Bank's culture by fostering respect and teamwork.
