Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a seasoned Head of Information Security to lead the enterprise security program, risk management, and regulatory compliance across the organization. You will partner with IT, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Procurement, and senior leaders to strengthen controls and resilience.

The role requires 12+ years in information security, with 3+ years leading security teams, and hands‑on experience in security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in information security, with 3+ years leading security teams or programs.
• Hands-on experience running security operations including incident response and vulnerability management.
• Experience remediating SOX/ITGC control deficiencies or material weaknesses.
• Experience developing and running BCP/DR programs with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AI governance frameworks and cloud security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the enterprise security strategy, governance, risk management, and security operations.
• Hire, develop, and manage the security team and coordinate with MSSPs and vendors.
• Oversee identity and access management, cloud security, and data protection programs.
• Maintain security policies, standards, and procedures including AI governance.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Internal Audit to address weaknesses and support audits.
• Lead tabletop exercises, incident response, and crisis management readiness.
• Communicate risk to executives and board, and build relationships with regulators and external partners.
