Arc is seeking a VP of Engineering to define and build the core technology platforms that will power the future of electric boating. You will lead the engineering vision, Roadmap and execution of battery, electrical, powertrain, and vehicle platforms, enabling Arc's consumer and commercial vessels.

You will build the engineering organization, drive advanced R&D, new product development, sustaining engineering, and scalable platforms while partnering with executive leadership to deliver

Qualifications

• Leading multidisciplinary hardware engineering teams from architecture to high-volume production.
• Deep knowledge of battery systems, electrical architecture, powertrains, and hardware–software integration.
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and retain top engineering talent.
• Experience defining long-term technology roadmaps enabling multiple products and segments.
• Ability to balance customer experience, manufacturability, cost, and schedule.
• Excellent communicator with cross-functional leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Arc's Hardware Engineering organization across the full lifecycle.
• Define vision, architecture, and roadmap for battery, electrical, powertrain, and integration.
• Recruit, develop, and set high engineering standards with ownership culture.
• Partner with executives to identify opportunities and deliver industry-defining products.
• Simplify products, architectures, and processes to accelerate development.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Software, Manufacturing, and Sales to support lifecycle.
