Arc, headquartered in Los Angeles, seeks a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and integration of complex electromechanical systems for marine vessels. This on-site role reports to the Manager, Powertrain Hardware Engineering. Expect travel ~15% for testing, validation, and supplier coordination as Arc scales its platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years owning complete mechanical or electromechanical systems and leading cross-disciplinary teams.
Responsabilités
- Lead development of complex electromechanical systems across vessel programs from concept to production.
- Own HV distribution architecture across mechanical, electrical, thermal and manufacturing domains.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews and provide hands-on guidance.
- Direct sea trials and in-field validation to verify system performance.
