Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead Test Equipment development and sustainment on the AMRAAM program. This onsite role requires strong technical leadership across TE architecture, coordinating with IPTs and CPTs to deliver critical capabilities on schedule.

You will oversee TE portfolio execution, drive test optimization, and provide governance through design reviews, EACs, and FRACAS. U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Test System Design; Hardware or Software development spanning multiple disciplines (Power, RF, Analog, Digital).
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure TE portfolio integrity to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Lead TE architecture and coordinate with IPTs/CPTs; provide guidance and technical leadership.
• Provide TE program oversight, design reviews, and briefings to internal/external customers; apply EVMS techniques.
