Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Test Equipment Chief Engineer for the ESSM program in Tucson, AZ. The role leads TE activities, guiding fast, viable resolutions for factory issues and coordinating with customer TechRep, with 50 engineers under scope and over $100M backlog.

Occasional travel and active Secret clearance required; onsite work in Tucson expected. You will influence technical direction, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure a robust organizational structure, risk posture, and execution

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience managing resources with multi-million-dollar budgets.
Experience leading technical teams in production with US Government interface.
Experience in Test System Design, Test Hardware or Test Software across disciplines.
Ability to travel 10–20%.
Active and transferable U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Chair Engineering Review, Configuration Control and Failure Review Boards.
Provide technical leadership of Production and Sustainment engineering activities.
Influence and decision making for balanced technical solutions.
Establish and reinforce the program’s technical structure, risk posture, strategy, and execution plans.
Communicate across functions and with customer TechRep.
