Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electronic/Flight Test Engineer for the Edwards AFB location to support the AMRAAM missile program. The role involves hands-on lab and flight-line testing, data collection, and multi-disciplinary fault analysis under demanding conditions.

The candidate should have a BS in engineering and at least five years of technical experience, with travel readiness and DoD security clearance requirements. On-site role with potential extended hours and domestic travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Electrical/Aerospace/Systems Eng, Physics, Math or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of technical/engineering experience.
• Experience with radar/ComNav systems and radar-related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform integration, verification, and testing in lab or field per specifications.
• Collect data, review data elements, and provide quick-look reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on fault isolation and corrective actions across subsystems.
• Support flight-line testing and work non-standard hours under extreme conditions.
• Travel domestically for about a week per trip.
