Job summary

Aecon Engineering Services Inc. seeks a Chief Discipline Engineer to lead electrical and instrumentation & control teams for power generation projects. You will shape engineering practices, mentor staff, and ensure design excellence while maintaining cost and schedule targets.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and at least 12 years of experience with 5 in supervision, including nuclear or large-scale power facilities. On-site in New Jersey opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a four-year accredited college.
• 12 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in supervision.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license; ability to obtain others via comity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop discipline work processes, tools and knowledge/resources.
• Lead the electrical and I&C groups, ensure quality and safety.
• Staff projects; assign engineers based on workload.
• Evaluate project performance data and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Director of Engineering on objectives.
