Job summary

Aecon Concessions is seeking a Chief Discipline Engineer to lead the Electrical and I&C teams for nuclear projects. The role focuses on establishing engineering processes, staffing, and regulatory compliance, while driving technical excellence across the discipline.

You will mentor staff, guide project design bases, and collaborate with Business Development to pursue new opportunities. Candidates should have a PE license, BSEE, and 12 years of experience in power generation.

Qualifications

• BSEE from an accredited college; 12 years in engineering, with 5+ years in supervisory capacity.
• PE license with ability to obtain others through comity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ownership of the discipline engineering process and quality.
• Experience with nuclear power plants and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop work processes, tools and knowledge resources to improve discipline performance.
• Assign discipline engineers to projects and participate in staffing plans.
• Analyze and document engineering practices and costs for projects.
• Provide technical guidance to project staff and conduct reviews for compliance.
• Guide recruitment and talent development within the discipline.
• Collaborate with Business Development to pursue proposals and capabilities.
