Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a VP, Data Center Solutions who will develop and deploy the data center strategy for North America and globally, driving Fusion 30 initiatives and leading a high-performing team. The role emphasizes market insights, partnerships, and execution excellence.

You will lead a broad portfolio, coordinate with finance and acquisitions, and build capability across the data center organization while ensuring customer satisfaction and financial targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• 10+ years experience managing vertical markets, including 5+ years people leadership experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of Data Center market experience.
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional strategies resulting in sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Commercial building industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio management for Data Center Solutions including market insights, strategy, and value proposition.
• Define and drive the Data Center strategy aligned with Fusion 30 plan.
• Oversee growth opportunities through market assessment, trend analysis, and competitive insights.
• Define and manage the data center product/solutions portfolio, roadmap, and innovation.
• Lead commercialization strategies and key programs for Data Center products.
• Drive organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including partnerships or acquisitions.
• Identify risks to strategy and develop contingency plans.
