CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director - Cloud and Platform Engineering to shape and execute a multi-cloud platform strategy across GCP, AWS, and Azure. You will build the organization, establish standards, and drive enterprise-scale delivery with measurable outcomes.

In this role you will partner with Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Security, Identity, Data, and Enterprise Architecture to translate business priorities into prioritized engineering initiatives and risk-managed roadmaps.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, SRE or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of technology leadership, engineering management, architecture leadership or equivalent large-scale technical leadership.
• 7+ years of deep engineering experience in at least one major public cloud platform, with working knowledge across GCP, AWS and Azure.
• 7+ years of experience with cloud foundations and landing zones, including networking, DNS, identity, security, Kubernetes, compute, storage, databases, shared services and observability.
• 5+ years of experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation and reusable engineering patterns.
• 5+ years of experience partnering with dedicated DevOps/Operations and Production SRE teams to transition engineered services into reliable production operation.
• 5+ years of experience defining or applying SLOs, SLIs, production-readiness criteria, observability, capacity management, disaster recovery and operational support models.

Mansioni

• Own the multi-cloud platform engineering strategy and roadmap for Health100 and PCW across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Translate business priorities, application demand, resiliency requirements, and enterprise standards into sequenced engineering initiatives, balancing near-term delivery with platform modernization, technical debt reduction, and capability development.
• Establish measurable outcomes and provide executive-level visibility into roadmap progress, platform adoption, reliability, delivery predictability, automation, cost efficiency, risks, trade-offs, and investment requirements.
• Lead the architecture, engineering, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise cloud platforms across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Drive engineering of cloud foundations, networking, identity, security, Kubernetes, data services, shared services, and observability, using reusable reference architectures and engineering patterns to accelerate application onboarding.
• Ensure architecture incorporates availability, multi-region resiliency, disaster recovery, scalability, performance, maintainability, security, and cost requirements from the outset.
