Job summary

Breakwater Capital Markets seeks a seasoned Head of Advisory to set strategic direction, accelerate growth, and lead delivery of the advisory business. You will counsel senior leadership on market-facing opportunities, shape investor narratives, and guide cross-functional teams to high-impact outcomes.

You will build a differentiated capital markets advisory platform, expand client relationships, and oversee major investor-facing engagements while maintaining unwavering standards of excellence

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior leadership in capital markets advisory or related fields.
• Experience counselling CEOs, CFOs, boards, and IR leaders on market-facing opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Breakwater Capital Markets’ advisory strategy and growth.
• Develop capabilities and market positioning for high-value engagements.
• Build senior client relationships and originate new mandates.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing advisory team with excellence in execution.
• Represent Breakwater externally as a trusted capital markets adviser.
