Job summary

Breakwater Capital Markets is seeking a senior leader to serve as Head of Advisory, responsible for setting strategic direction, accelerating growth, and leading the delivery of our capital markets advisory business. Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in capital markets advisory, investor relations, or related field.
• Significant senior leadership responsibility in capital markets advisory, financial communications, investor relations, or closely related areas.
• Deep understanding of public equity markets, investor behavior, valuation, and corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategic direction of Breakwater Capital Markets’ advisory business, establishing a differentiated market proposition and growth agenda.
• Oversee the development and delivery of advisory capabilities across equity narrative, investment thesis, investor engagement strategy, and market-facing events.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to CEOs, CFOs, and boards on matters influencing corporate reputation and investor perception.
• Own the commercial growth agenda, including business development, client origination, and expansion of relationships.
• Build and lead a high-performing advisory team and contribute to Breakwater Capital Markets’ longer-term strategy.

Education

Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA preferred
