Breakwater Capital Markets seeks a visionary Head of Advisory to guide a premier capital markets practice. You will counsel CEOs, CFOs, boards, and senior executives on strategic, financial, and reputational matters, shaping investment narratives and market perceptions.

You will lead strategy, client development, and capability expansion, building a high-performing team and driving cross-functional initiatives to elevate the firm’s advisory franchise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in capital markets advisory or related fields.
• Proven track record advising CEOs, CFOs, boards on complex financial matters.
• Deep understanding of public equity markets and investor behavior.
• Experience leading high-profile capital markets engagements and Investor Days.
• Strong leadership and ability to build high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory growth, client origination, and relationship development for Breakwater Capital Markets.
• Oversee equity narrative development, investor messaging, and financial communications for major engagements.
• Shape advisory strategy, build capabilities, and establish standards of excellence across the firm.
• Mentor and develop talent, maintaining high-performance teams and client service.
• Drive transformation and long-term value creation through disciplined capital markets insights.
