Job summary

Elite Care Management, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our home health care team in Chicago. You will work with one patient for your entire shift, learning the patient’s needs and family life to support daily living activities.

Shifts run 8am–8pm on various days; pay is $20–$22 per hour. We offer paid orientation, weekly pay with direct deposit, a comprehensive benefits package, 24/7 on-call support, and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• TB test results or QuantiFERON gold within the last 12 months / 5 years respectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Help with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, eating.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation as required.
• Engage patients to support mental well-being and activity.
• Monitor pulse, temperature, and respiration.

You will work with ONE PATIENT for your complete shift, getting to know the patient, their needs, and their family life. As a skilled nurse, you will assist patients with daily living activities, ensure their comfort, and support their overall well-being to enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities may include the following:

• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager
• Support mobility by assisting patients with lifting and transferring as needed
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Light house-keeping duties, such as changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning, or preparing meals
• Enhancing quality of life and building relationships with patients through conversation, doing activities together, and finding stimulation to keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Monitor patients’ pulse, temperature, and respiration
