Job summary

Dow is seeking Chemical Processing Operators for its Alberta Operations in Fort Saskatchewan. You will monitor and optimize plant operations across Hydrocarbons, Solution Polyethylene, Gas Phase Polyethylene, and Power & Utilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation.

qualifications include ABSA 4th Class certification, a high school diploma, and a valid Canadian driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ABSA 4th Class certification or higher is preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations.
• Operate equipment and adjust control systems as needed.
• Perform field checks, isolate and prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Follow Dow Life Critical Standards and operating discipline for safety and reliability.
• Participate in Emergency Response Brigade training (fire and rope rescue).
• Work in a team-oriented environment and support plant commissioning efforts.
