Job summary

Dow Canada is seeking a Chemical Processing Operator to optimize operations across hydrocarbons, solution polyethylene, gas phase polyethylene, and power/utilities. You will monitor equipment, adjust controls, and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and progress toward relevant certification; two-year technical diploma preferred. Rotation shifts and Canada work authorization required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two-year technical diploma in a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize plant operations.
• Operate equipment and adjust control systems as needed.
• Perform field checks and prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Follow Life Critical Standards and operating discipline for safety and reliability.
• Participate in Emergency Response Brigade training (fire and rope rescue).
• Collaborate in plant commissioning and team activities.
