Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least five years of chemical operations experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong technical knowledge in chemical/manufacturing environments.
• Solid analytical, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computerized systems and MS Office.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Understanding of plant economics for decision making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with emphasis on safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Direct scheduling and workload of operators; ensure adequate coverage.
• Lead training and ensure training compliance for operators.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production, and regulatory teams.
• Serve as technical expert for interdepartmental issues.
• Conduct area inspections and drive corrective actions.
• Support timely maintenance of equipment and facilities.
