Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in chemical operations preferred.
• Forklift and portable hand truck certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Knowledge of handling, storage, and compliance for hazardous, chemical, and biologic materials.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor key materials management systems and equipment, providing hands-on assistance in all operations.
• Support starting, stopping, and adjusting equipment to ensure smooth, compliant operations.
• Coordinate daily tasks for less experienced operators and provide mentorship as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and lead routine inspections for audits and compliance.
• Contribute to training new hires on standard operating procedures and safety practices.
