Job summary

Gracious Hospitality Management's 550 Madison project seeks a dynamic Chef Sommelier to lead the wine program across multiple concepts in Midtown Manhattan. You will partner with the Wine Director, coach the sommelier team, and drive sales through expert service and education.

Responsibilities include developing wine lists, coordinating events, training staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, understand, and follow directions in English.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of wine laws, appellations, and service standards.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Certified sommelier or WSET level 3 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as dining room captain during service and supports other departments.
• Coaches staff on wine service steps and customer interaction.
