Job summary

Ci Siamo, a NYT Top 100 restaurant located at Manhattan West in New York City, seeks an experienced Sommelier to lead the wine program and elevate guest experiences. You will collaborate with the Beverage Director and service team to curate selections and educate staff on wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic options.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Sommelier or wine service role.
• Strong knowledge in wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• English fluency; additional languages preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Support Enlightened Hospitality culture.
• Partner with Beverage Director to create and maintain an enticing wine program that enhances the guest experience.
• Provide guests with guidance and suggestions of wine and beverage selections.
• Educate service team on wine, beer, spirits, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage items.
• Deliver a financially responsible wine program that supports restaurant revenue and inventory goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility across service roles and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.
