Job summary

Ci Siamo, a Union Square Hospitality Group restaurant, seeks a Sommelier to lead and elevate the wine and beverage program. You will guide guests on wine, beer, spirits selections while collaborating with the Beverage Director and service team to ensure exceptional hospitality.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a sommelier or wine service role, strong wine/beverage knowledge, and professional English. On-site opportunity with competitive compensation and growth potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Sommelier or wine service role.
• Strong knowledge in wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
• Partner with Beverage Director to create and maintain an enticing wine program that enhances the guest experience
• Provide guests with guidance and suggestions of wine and beverage selections
• Educate service team on wine, beer, spirits, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage items
• Deliver a financially responsible wine program that increases sales and maintains appropriate inventory
• Demonstrate flexibility and a wide range of skills and knowledge
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives
