Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a Chassis Mechanic for Linden, NJ to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical tank-trailer systems. Welding and fabrication (TIG/MIG, aluminum, stainless) are preferred, with emphasis on DOT compliance.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $27.50 per hour, with six-monthly skill-based reviews and potential increases. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, and more.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $22.00 to $27.50 per hour, dependent on experience.

Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.

Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas:

• The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer.
• Tank service and repair
• Trailer suspension installation and repair
• Experience with air brake systems and repairs
• Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards, complete DOT inspections
• Welding and fabrication experience - TIG/MIG, aluminum and stainless preferred
