Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Linden, New Jersey is seeking a Chassis Mechanic to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and other systems on tank trailers, with TIG/MIG welding experience preferred.

Join a team offering a Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift; pay range of $22.00–$27.50 per hour, experience-based, plus benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO and tuition reimbursement, plus opportunities to grow toward ASME welding certification.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose failures and repair mechanical/electrical systems on tank trailers.
• DOT inspections compliance knowledge and air brake systems experience.
• Welding/fabrication experience (TIG/MIG); aluminum and stainless preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other trailer systems.
• Perform tank service, trailer suspension work and repairs.
• Inspect tanks/trailers to DOT standards and complete inspections.
• Use TIG/MIG welding to fabricate or repair components.
