First Student, Inc. is seeking a qualified sales/support professional in Illinois to help grow Outside Charter revenue. The role schedules Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm and offers an hourly rate up to $25/hr. You will quote and price services and coordinate with branches to assign new work.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 3–5 years of experience in charter bookings and customer service, and strong computer skills within a transportation context.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in related field.
• Experience with charter booking and transportation industry.
• Proficient with computer systems and office software.
• Knowledge of school bus transportation operations.

Responsibilities

• Increases Outside Charter Revenue.
• Assists in customer quoting and pricing.
• Distributes and dispatches the new work to the most appropriate branch or location.
• Increases customer base.
• Initializes marketing strategies.
