Job summary

Express Family Logistics is seeking an experienced logistics leader for the Charlotte, NC office. The role focuses on growing the office by uniting Sales and Operations, coaching staff, and driving performance across the branch.

You will work across departments to strengthen prospecting, pipeline activity, customer growth, and overall branch profitability while developing people and processes for scalable success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in transportation or logistics.
• GM/Branch Manager/Director or similar leadership role experience.
• 3PL or freight brokerage experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of both sales and operations in logistics.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and drive performance.
• Comfort using KPIs to identify opportunities and hold teams accountable.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building/growing an office.
• Willingness to be onsite full-time in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the performance and development of the Charlotte office across Sales and Operations.
• Establish goals, track progress, and maintain accountability with teams.
• Provide coaching, professional development, and leadership to employees.
• Partner with Sales leadership to strengthen prospecting, pipeline, and customer growth.
• Partner with Operations to improve execution, communication, and service.
• Identify performance gaps and create solutions with staff and leadership.
• Develop processes, expectations, and best practices as the Charlotte office scales.
• Build a strong, competitive office culture that motivates growth.
• Identify future leaders and create development paths for high performers.
• Serve as a hands-on leader and be involved in day-to-day operations.
