Qualifications

• Must have 3 years of hands-on collection experience including repossession and recovery of charged-off loans.
• Strong knowledge of bankruptcy laws, foreclosures, repossessions and FDCPA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact charged-off loan and negative share members to arrange repayment and document activity.
• Negotiate settlements to maximize returns for the credit union.
• Monitor monthly recovery targets and ensure proper allocation of payments.
