Job summary

Sabert Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of innovative food packaging, seeks a Customer Compliance and Deductions Manager in Sayreville, NJ. You will align cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to customer contracts and routing guides, review and dispute incorrect deductions, and educate departments to prevent preventable chargebacks.

You will guide contract risk assessments, monitor customer-specific agreements, and collaborate with AR, Sales, and logistics to resolve deductions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Experience with deductions, chargebacks, AR and claims.
• ERP systems experience, SAP strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup/xlookup.
• Experience with customer portals and disputing deductions.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for new customer contracts with attention to non-compliance risks and deductions.
• Track customer-specific agreements to prevent warehouse overstock and ensure contract compliance.
• Analyze, investigate, validate, dispute and resolve customer deductions with cross-functional teams.
• Determine deduction validity and prepare disputes.
• Manage vendor and routing guides databases and coordinate repayments through portals.
• Maintain metrics on deductions, recoveries and preventions.
• Identify recurring compliance issues and propose preventive steps.
