Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the inpatient team on a full-time day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with weekend and holiday commitments. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, develop care plans, and guide less experienced staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading nursing interventions, documenting patient responses, educating patients and families, and participating in quality improvement and department standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Maryland or compact state and CPR certified.
• BSN preferred or willing to obtain within 5 years.
• Excellent patient assessment, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and lead/teach others as needed.
• Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate a care plan.
• Communicate with the health care team and document care actions.
• Adhere to FH policies and regulatory requirements; participate in quality improvement.
